Quo Vadis, Vatikan?
Der Weg des Tomasz Jaeschke
Quo Vadis, Vatikan?
Titel of petition :
"Quo vadis, Vatican?"
A catholic priest fights for animal welfare.
In October 2011, a catholic priest will set out for the Pontifex with the demand to make animal welfare a matter of the churchly message to the believers.
On 2 nd and 3 rd October 2011 the catholic priest Tomasz Jaeschke will go on a pilgrimage to Rome, in silence, praying, fasting and blessing animals.
On 4 th of October 2011, the day of Saint Franziskus, he will be at the Vatican, still in silence, praying, fasting and blessing animals.
On this day he will also hand over this petition including all your signatures, a personal letter and all the letters you wrote, to the Pontifex.
With this mission the priest wants to remind the church, that animals are equally creatures of god and that the church has to ask their believers to protect animals.
We support this mission as Christians, and we follow the requests of the priest Tomasz Jaeschke in all points. We ask the catholic church to finally perform their moral, ethical and religious duties:
Martin Luther said: "I believe, that God created me and all other creatures!”
Unfortunately many Christians all over the world have forgotten this: Millions of animals are abused and tortured every day and the destruction of our planet, the creation of God, goes on irresistibly.
And the church?
The church remains silent, it does not admonish its believers to responsible actions, the necessity of christian charity is limited to humans only. The church only cares for humans.
The subjects animals and environment are consequently neglected.
I ask you as a Christian:
Ensure that the catholic church admits to the protection of animals and environment in word and deed!
Let this subject be a part of „Urbi et orbi“ and ask your priests and bishops, to remind the believers in the services!
The catholic church should be a paradigm, on which people can orientate towards in their daily actions concerning animals and environment!
Every life deserves protection, respect and sympathy !
Many Christians are waiting, that „their“ church at last admits to the protection of animals and environment and acts that way!
